How Much does the TEFL Certificate Program cost?
In The TEFL Certificate Program you will receive university-quality instruction from university qualified teachers and instructors. However, you will find that our tuition costs are competitive and reasonable. We invite you to compare our tuition costs For the entire 120 hour TEFL Certificate Program the total cost is 1,495 $USD. A 20% deposit is required 10 working days previous to program start date. The full amount must be paid before training takes.

What accreditation does the TEFL Program have?
The TEFL Certificate Program is administered by the Language Institute, Chiang Mai University. It is approved and accredited by the Language Institute’s Board of Directors and by Chiang Mai University’s president as an academic course offered by Chiang Mai University and incorporated within the overall curriculum. A TEFL Certificate issued by Chiang Mai University will receive the same high level of respect and recognition that any graduate of CMU can expect from academic institutions and employers worldwide. All graduates of the TEFL Certificate Program, CMU receive a Chiang Mai University certificate signed by the director of the Language Institute, CMU and by the president of Chiang Mai University.

Who teaches the TEFL Certificate Program?
All of our trainers have postgraduate qualifications in ESL/EFL teaching. Our head trainer is so qualified and has been teaching university students at a graduate and postgraduate level in the Faculty of English for almost three years.

How long is the program? What is the schedule?
The program is 120 hours (face to face instruction) over a 4.5 week period. The classes are Monday to Friday with a morning and afternoon class sessions. The morning sessions of classes are 10am to 1pm. In the first week, afternoon sessions of classes are 1pm to 5pm. From the second week there are afternoon practicum between 5pm-7pm.

When do I begin teaching students?
Practicum (practical teaching classes) begins in the second week of afternoon classes. Students teach guided classes to University students and the students of Westbourne Academy,
