TEFL Course China is part of a dynamic private language center based in Suzhou, China, we run a 120 Hour TEFL Certificate  Course under the auspice of Chiang Mai University. Chiang Mai University is located in Northern Thailand and is a fully accredited and recognized International University.

Language Institute Director:
Sansanee Wannangkoon is the best-selling author of 11 books on applied psychology, and has extensive experience in academic management. She has a BA (economics, CMU ); an MA educational psychology, Kasetsat University ); and international business certification (University of Technology, Sydney).

TEFL Certificate Program Director:
Dr. Matthew John Kay has been teaching academic English and thesis writing at the Language Institute since 2004. A special instructor in the Department of philosophy at CMU, he also lectures in European philosophy for the Department of Sociology’s Ph.D. program in sustainable development.

Head Trainer:
The author of several books and a professional writer for more than 20 years, Head Trainer Peter McKenzie-Brown received CERTESOL accreditation from Canada’s University of Saskatchewan before joining the teaching staff at Chiang Mai University in 2003. He took undergraduate and post-graduate studies in the US.

Senior Trainer:
Karla M. Porch has lived and worked in eight countries, with TESOL certification from Trinity College London, an MA in Italian culture, and a BA in Romance languages, she brings a unique international perspective to English teaching.

Andrew Norman has been managing training institutions in the UK, Thailand and China for more than 15 years. As well as Andrew's management skills he has also constructed and delivered more than 3,500 ESP and soft skill hours of training to companies such as Intel, Coca-Cola, Roche Pharmaceuticals, Standard Chartered Bank, BP Oil and many more.

TEFL Abroad China provides trainees with a comprehensive introduction to all aspects of English Language Teaching with special emphasis on China and Thailand. We equip participants with all the basic skills associated with a career as a TEFL or TESOL teacher.

As well as equipping trainees with teaching skills at TEFL Abroad we also work closely with each trainee on finding them suitable teaching opportunities in China, Thailand or Globally. Our Job guidance assistance is available to all graduates both in China and through Chiang Mai University in Thailand.
